Entering Two Paintings in the DAAL Spring Show

Since I joined the Dublin Area Art League in 2011, I have not skipped one spring or fall art show.
It's always exciting to enter your paintings in an art exhibition, though it may be a little nerve wracking to put your art out there, open to judgement and comments. Even more when you know there will be a juror evaluating all the works and assigning prizes!

The artworks entered in the DAAL shows are always very diverse: there are oil paintings, acrylic paintings, watercolors, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sometimes fabric work or sculpture.

This time I am entering two oil paintings, both 8"x10", which is smaller than what I have usually entered, but I enjoyed painting them so much, I hope the public will enjoy looking at them.

The show will be on display at the Dublin, OH Community Recreation Center from April 11 - May 2, 2015.
